Building Handcrafted and Milled Log Homes

Harper Construction Inc. has been in the construction business since 1986 and building log homes since 2000.  Although our specialty is milled and handcrafted log homes, we also offer all types of construction from remodels, to timber frame, super insulated panel and custom stick frame homes.  We are members of the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and I am an NAHB Certified Green Professional as well as an Energy Star Partner.  We are continually being educated in the areas of up-to-date building practices and codes.  I am a Montana registered general contractor (license#55014) and carry liability insurance and work comp.  The accounting and marketing side is handled mainly by my wife who has a Bachelors and Masters in Business from MSU-Billings.  We work mostly in the Georgetown Lake, Philipsburg, Anaconda, and Granite county areas but will travel throughout the state of Montana. 

At Harper Construction Inc. we understand the importance of a satisfied customer.  The homes we build are warm and cozy in the winter and cool and comfortable in the summer because we always strive to exceed the standard energy building codes.  Our goal is to build a high performance home that requires little maintenance, saves the customer considerably on their utility bills while also being affordable.  We also work with the homeowner to ensure that they receive the paperwork necessary to receive the state and federal tax credits for their energy efficient home.
